In their time this was really difficult, take in mind that the image dates from mid s. XIX … now is still difficult, although Queen has helped us a lot! (Do you remember the video?)
Taking about antiques, this attractive colored engraving is part of a humor collection called Esquisses Parisiennes, and, under the picture, what is mentioned is: “Oh Jules, tu est tu drole comme ça” That could be translated as: “Oh Jules, you’re so funny”
