COME ON BABY LIGHT MY FIRE - ALMODOVAR GIRLS

I cannot find a better song to describe the way of looking of this Spanish girl, traditionaly dressed, that is the image of a matches box from the 60s. On the other side of the box, there is a picture of Lloret de Mar, a town of the cost of Catalonia, that one day was small… and now is a very turistic place.

No puedo encontrar una forma mejor de describir la mirada de esta chica, vestida de forma tradicional, y es la imagen de una caja de cerillas de los 60. En el otro lado de la caja, hay una imagen de un pueblo, puede ser Lloret de Mar, en la costa Catalana, que un día fue pequeño... y ahora es un sitio turístico. 

And yes!, there is no doubt that this woman, living in a matches box, is thinking  “Come on baby light my fire…”. I think that she could be the protagonits of an Almodovar film (Almodovar, the Spanish director, winner of the Oscar for ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER). Doesn’t she look like Penelope Cruz, the most famous Almodovar Girl,  in VOLVER?

Si! no hay duda, esta mujer que vive en una caja de cerillas está pensando: "Vamos chico enciende mi fuego..." Yo creo que ella podría ser la protagonista de una película de Almodovar (El director español, ganador de una Oscar por TODO SOBRE MI MADRE). No se parece a Penelope Cruz, la chica Almodovar más famosa, en VOLVER?

This funny, retro piece is full of the charming of the 60s… some kind of innocence and audacity. Esta pieza divertida y retro, llena del encanto de los 60... una mezcla de inocencia y audacidad.
