FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS

Freddie Mercury was right, Friends will be Friends, especially when you need them!... and, for this reason, my friend Gemma, who is a great cooker and has a wonderful blog (http://foodandcakesbygb.blogspot.com.es) is using some of my antiques as outfit for her posts… and I really appreciate that!!!

For example, take a look at the use that she gives to an antique spittoon… she has converted it in a receipt for muffins (obviously, the muffins are conveniently protected!!!). The glass spittoon, dated early s. XX and most probably made in Spain, is transformed in a funny way to show her kitchen creations!!!

Hmm... this BLUE recipient is giving me some ideas of BLUE decoration…

In this occasion, I will translate the receipt, you will find the original one in http://foodandcakesbygb.blogspot.com.es/2013/03/madalenas-de-nata-thermomix.html

(if there is something you do not understand, please ask us!!)
CREAM MUFFINS (using Thermomix)
INGREDIENTS
350 gr. flour
250 gr. sugar
250 ml. sunflower
100 ml. whipping cream
1 envelope yeast
4 eggs
1 Lemon

Preparation
Pour the flour and the yeast in a bowl, programming speed 30 seconds 3. Remove and reserve.
Put the butterfly in the blades, add the eggs and the sugar. Schedule 7 minutes, temperature 37 ° and level. 3. Add lemon zest (yellow part only) and schedule another 6 minutes, vel. 3.
Add remaining ingredients, except the flour and the yeast and schedule 3 minutes to level. 2. Removed the butterfly
Add the reserved flour and yeast and mix them with a spatula. Then  program five seconds, vel. 6, and then return to mix everything with the spatula, manually.
Maintain everything 10 minutes in the vessel, while the furnace is preheated to 230 °.
Split the mass into paper molds, filling up 3/4 of capacity.
Sprinkle them with sugar. Finally, after some time, introduce the muffins in the oven at 210º.  Bake them for about 10-12 minutes.
hmmmmm.... WONDERFUL!
Finally, as usual, some music to finish the post...

FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS,
WHEN YOURE THROUGH WITH LIFE AND ALL HOPE IS LOST,
HOLD OUT YOUR HAND COS FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS RIGHT TILL THE END.
